About Me

Hi, I’m Candace, a registered dietitian and board-certified renal nutrition specialist. I help people living with kidney disease feel supported, understood, and equipped to take charge of their health.

My approach is rooted in connection and clarity — taking time to understand your story, your medical background, and your goals so the nutrition guidance you receive truly fits your life. I love helping you uncover your own “why” for change while giving you the knowledge and tools to make it happen.

My Approach to Kidney Health

I focus on finding the root cause of kidney decline — whether it’s high blood pressure, diabetes, or another factor — and creating personalized nutrition guidance that supports your kidneys and your life. I believe in combining clear, evidence-based strategies with compassion and encouragement so you can make lasting, confident changes.

My Faith and Motivation

My faith in Christ is at the center of everything I do. It shapes the way I care for others — with grace, patience, and hope. I see every person I work with as uniquely created and deeply valued, and it’s an honor to walk alongside you on your journey toward better health.

My Heart for Teaching

Teaching has always been a huge part of who I am. I love mentoring dietetic interns and nutrition students through partnerships with Tennessee Tech University, UT Memphis, and various mentorship programs. Helping students connect clinical knowledge with real-world care is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

As Seen In

You may have seen my work featured in The Kidney Dietitian, Responsum for CKD, Todays Dietitian, The Kitchen Invitation, or the Nashville Voyager, where I’ve shared insights on kidney health and evidence-based nutrition.
